UGC announces over 100 open online courses for UG, PG students

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced over 100 open online courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

According to commission, the Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC) will be offering 78 UG, 46 PG non-engineering MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) in January semester on SWAYAM platform– swayam.gov.in.

Information about course-wise classes and exam dates are available on the website.

Students from any university or college will be allowed to avail the credit transfer benefits from the course. The courses are beneficial for academic fraternity and working professionals too.

Last year, six courses from SWAYAM were listed under Class Central’s 30 best online courses of 2019. The courses are academic writing, digital marketing, animations, mathematical economics, python for data science, early childhood care and education (ECCE).

The Senior Marketing Specialist manages marketing materials of all sizes and complexities, develops content, helps improve marketing resources and processes, and contributes to the development of new business strategies. Based at the SOM San Francisco office, the person selected will work in close collaboration with the firm’s leadership and a variety of other internal clients as part of a high-performing marketing team.

2. Shigeru Ban Architects seeks a Designer / Marketing Coordinator in New York, NY (they’re also hiring an Architect / Designer)
The firm’s seeking an Architectural Designer with a professional architect degree (B. Arch or M. Arch) and up to 2 years continuous work experience in a professional architecture practice. Candidates must have exceptional design and presentation skills. The person will also be assisting with the production of marketing materials, and contributing to business development workflow.

3. COOKFOX seeks a Marketing and Communications Specialist in New York, NY
The organisation is looking for someone who is creative, curious, confident and collaborative, with strong writing and graphic skills to work on day-to-day external and internal communications tasks. This person will work closely with the Director of Communications and external publicity consultant to support the studio’s business development, communication, marketing and outreach efforts.
